i tried many software for video format convertion and this is at the moment the best i ever found ! various formats, easy to use and configure and constently improved.

Very counter-intuitive UI, you never know whether you are editing the settings for one file or several. The app offers you o customize and then save under a specific name your own settings, but you never find again the profiles you create ! With all format i tried, the subtitles are always defaulted to “NONE”, althougth ethe source file conatined subtitles ! You must edit the profile of the target device and then activate the subtitles extraction. Weird and unhelpful. You end up doing and doing again the converting, with trial and errors, without any possibility to save yr settings! Irritating, really. Probably a good video converter, but the other parts of the app have been totally neglected — too bad for that price !

this app cannot rotate a full video properly : the with and the height are simply not swapped and the final result is distorted I had to buy another app that does the job : Video Edit

It delivers what it promises. Fast, esay and reliable.

Works great for my application. Used it to convert .mts files that had been removed from a sd card root folder - worked great at converting 1920x1080 files. They look great.

I bought this to convert mp4 to WMV. Does not work properly, I have tried many different settings but all the videos come up corrupted in some way. Jumpy video with artifacts. They are not usable, and hence neither is this program. Any way to get my money back? It says it converts to WMV but it does not!

Wasted my money on this and more importantly a whole lot of time trying to unsuccesfully burn a movie. There are free apps much easier to use than this.

So many imature programs being dumped onto the store. This program needs to have a MEGA improvement to keep it alive. Would have enjoyed a coffie and doughnut for the money…… Pass this one or wait for another revision….if at all….

This app crashed a total of 7 times while I tried to add .m4v files to the list. Then when it didnt crash, after restarting my mac, when I pressed the Convert button, only 5 videos managed to convert without error. The only error message it gave me was a popup window that said "failed", no additional info whatsoever to help me find out -why- it failed.

I purchased this software because of the “Burn both SD and HD video to DVD” as it was described to be able to do. However, the app DOES NOT do this and refers you to the compnay’s website to buy the ‘full version’ for 29.95 - this is highly misleading bordering on false advertising. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Fantastic! Patience and goodwill on my part. and this fantastic softwaew App made fantastic result. I;m an 83 year old RCAF warrior, but this App is like my first Spitfire!

It works great and do mutiple jobs such as audio video conversions or trimming. I am super happy.

When trying to convert .flv to .mp3, if it’s more than 50mb, it keeps freezing. I want to return this product, but there is not way. Really regret purchasing this app.

I like how simple it is to convert a file with this app. Drag the file onto the dashboard and choose the format you want to convert to. Of which there are a lot of choices/formats. I would have given it 5 stars except for one thing that annoys me. The output file size that it shows is totally bogus. I just converted a 4.22MB .flv file to mp4. The app dashboard showed the created file would be 294.47MB. In actual fact, the file it produced was 24.1MB, about 8% of what was shown. The file was fine - 1920 x 1080 HD. Other than that little annoyance, it’s a great app. Highly recommended.

The update of April 25 to v4.0.0 immediately crashes upon load. If you have the previous version 3.9.6 (from October 2015) as I did, do not update - that version works well and I was quite happy with it. I’m hoping I still have that version from a Time Machine backup. There is as yet no App Store update to correct the v4.0.0 crash.

The UI used to be clean and clutter free. Now, in the latest version there are a couple of social buttons (twitter, facebook, instagram, etc) that have been placed on the top right corner(not shown in the screenshots) — those buttons look out of place (3D icons, not flat). At the moment, there is no option to hide these buttons in the interface. I hope in future, the developer will take notice of this anomaly.

I tried with 10 different .VRO files. as soon as I push “Convert” button or “Play” button, this application crashes. It crashed now more than 35 times. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

It does what it says, it converts video between formats. But there are few usability problems: - None of the keyboard shortcuts are Mac-like. There is no Cmd+, for Preferences, no Cmd+H to hide the app, etc. - The app does not look like a Mac application. - There is no frequently used or starred formats feature. - Mac-specific formats like MP4 should be on the first page of formats, but they are way at the end. - There is no notification when jobs are completed. - There is no cutting out multiple parts of the video.

There are some problems with current (2.7.2) version - too slow converts video (standart movie to ipad hd -> about 7 hours :( ) and crushes with error on start (OSX 10.7). Start with no restore window - allows to start normally

Where is .vob? is it so hard to add it? and too slow..
