Purchased Total Video Converter Pro at the sale price of $15 (reduced from the original price of $30) to burn a video to disc. Will convert from MP4 to MPG, but refuses to burn anything to disc. The instructions on their website have no basis in reality. I want my $15 back.
Tried the Lite version and it did exactly what I needed it to on my test file. Since I’m transferring old family videos, I needed the batch options of the Pro version so I can set it & forget it and wake up tomorrow with them all done. Awesome!
Having used the lite version of this product for over a year to great success, I decided to buy the Pro version. Unbelievably, it warps the visual output of any video I attempt to convert… even video I previously successfully converted with the “lite” version… what a disappointment! Must recommend avoiding until fixed! I have 2014 MACBook Pro with 16GB RAM and I have been creating videos consistently every week for over two years… never seen something as dumb as this.
For some reason, it is really difficult to convert a video over 20 seconds into an animated gif. This app solved this problem in no time flat.
I’ve been trying out video converters for Big Cat Rescue videos since the beginning of online video and Total Video Converter Pro is the best so far.
Downloaded the pro version and had an issue with a specific format. E-mailed their supprt and within hours it was sorted out and working!
So i used the lite version and seems to have the features i wanted, except i have an issue with LITE and Pro version during the time of conversion it will instantly show 100% all the time. In converting a file from 250MB up to 1.1GB - once the button is select to start the conversion it is immediately at 100% like it converted it in a millisecond. which would be awesome but i know it is not the case, so i downloaded the software on my 2009 iMac in which i know is really really slow with video converters and installed and ran this LITE and Pro version same and different files still show 100% done. Guessing it is software issue and need an update to resolve this as i do not know when i should stop the conversion as it seems it is completed. Does anyone else have this issue Thanks iOSGenius.com
This program is simple and easy to use. It can convert just about any video file into another. I’ve yet to have it crash or give me any errors. Would recomment for video conversion especially on the Mac.
I remember that I sent an Email and told you : “ please add ability for choosing soft or hard subtitles “, but in this version, I can’t even change my subtitle font….. Unlike the windows version, the mac version is not good enough….. Shame……
I like this app, mostly because it has a lot of functions and it has all I need. I like to watch movies on the iphone, so I used it to do the job. It is really amazing and recommend to you all.
Not a power user but for converting different videos formats to something I can use with iMovie this is a wonderful program. Just converted MTS to MP4 and it was as easy as it gets.
I purchased this because I was trying to figure out why I could not play videos in .mov format in final cut, with sound. After some serious drama, I realized that I needed to revert from El Capitan back to Yosemite 10 something. Once I did this I could convert and edit all my files. If you’re using El Capitan, it won’t matter that you have a good converter, something in El Capitan messes up final cut. Word to the wise. the app in and of itself is pretty cool, being able to convert from and to different formats is pretty awesome, and combining audio and video together, what. . . Nice!
I upgraded to Pro because the info says it converts more file types … which it does … but it won’t convert .vob files. I still have to use my pc desktop for that, and it irritates me becuase that’s about the only reason I ever tun on my pc anymore. Also, it doesn’t allow me to define settings, just pick a predefined one. Also, it doesn’t do any editing but relies on outside apps like iMovie. Other than that, I’m okay with it.
I usually don’t right reviews or pay for apps, but I had the free app and it did really everything I needed but do multiple videos, so I paid for the pro and am happy with the way it works. There are probably more robust apps like this out there, but for me it does everything I need and more.
Wow!
great app on apple store, but please add iPhone 6s Plus Device. thanks!
I’ve had it glitch out a few times when converting video to audio but other than that its not too bad!
I never do a review on an app till i use it for a while. And this APP has always done exactly what i wanted it to do. i edit videos i get online and often they are the wrong format for imovie so this app does thee convertion nice and fast. Never ever had a video file that this app rejected. This APP is completelybreliable. It works 100% of the time
I use the app rather seldom, but it works well! Easy user interface.
